What Happens During Your Visit

We’ll begin with a thorough assessment to understand the issue and relieve any immediate discomfort.

From there, we’ll explain your options clearly and recommend the most appropriate treatment, whether that’s a same-day solution or a follow-up plan.

  • Can you see me the same day?
Yes, we offer same-day emergency appointments whenever possible. Call us to check availability and we’ll do our best to see you as quickly as possible.

What can I do to relieve pain before my appointment?
You can help manage discomfort temporarily with:

    • Over-the-counter pain relief such as Tylenol or Advil
    • A cold compress to reduce swelling
    • A warm salt water rinse to soothe irritation

These measures are temporary and do not replace professional treatment. If pain or swelling worsens, contact our office right away.

Will my insurance cover emergency treatment?
Coverage varies depending on your plan, but we accept most insurance and can help you understand your benefits. We also accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) for eligible patients.
